David Young, P.E., P.L.S., Emeritus
An accomplished project manager, David has over 35 years of experience in construction management, civil engineering, surveying and consulting. His work has concentrated on project and construction management.  David holds a bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Maine.

Peter Tubbs, P.E., P.L.S. - Principal, Vice President
Peter, well respected among his peers, has over 45 years experience in construction, civil engineering and land surveying. As past consulting town engineer in Cumberland and Freeport, Peter serves as a senior project manager for SYTDesign's municipal and industrial sector clients. Peter is routinely out in the field where he has established a strong track record of delivering excellent client service and serving as a mentor to fellow engineers. Peter holds a degree in civil and highway engineering from Wentworth Institute. Peter is an avid outdoorsman and spends much of his free time enjoying the Maine woods.

W. Scott Decker, P.E. - Principal, President
Scott is a founding partner of SYTDesign Consultants with over 40 years experience in the civil engineering field. Scott's daily responsibilities include serving as company president overseeing client relations, managing financial operations, and serving as a senior project manager coordinating various site development projects. Prior to founding SYTDesign Consultants, Scott managed the civil engineering department of E.C. Jordan Company. Scott holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine at Orono.  Scott is actively involved in local service clubs, spending time with family, and outdoor recreation.
