Description:
SYTDesign Consultants was retained by Hannaford Bros. Co. to provide site development design engineering and environmental permitting services for a 6-aisle, 33,500 square foot expansion of its freezer facility and a 41,000 square foot expansion of its dairy facility at its South Portland Distribution Center.

The project included loading docks with a total of 8 dock doors. Due to the cumulative effect of filled wetlands, a Natural Resources Protection Act (NRPA) Tier 1 Permit was obtained from the Department of Environmental Protection.
